As a long term resident of Shawnee, KS, I am very familiar with the Johnson County real estate market.  Before getting into real estate I earned my master of business administration degree from Northwest Missouri State University.  My undergraduate degree was in marketing with a minor in economics. 

This academic preparation gave me the skills to help home buyers and sellers make good decisions in a huge investment in their financial net worth. 

Prior to getting into real estate I worked with my husband in his home building business in Iowa.  When we moved to Shawnee, I worked in health care, veterinary medicine, and financial planning.l  The diverse background gave me the ability to relate to all different kinds of people.  I also taught in college at both the undergraduate and graduate level. 

Real estate is a profession where I can use all of my background, skills, education, and experience to help people reach their goals. 

When buying a home represents joy and excitement, I have been there --and I can guide a buyer through the details of a transaction and celebrate with them when they accomplish their goal.  When the reason for selling a
home represents loss, I have been there as well.  I can empathize with the sellers, guide them through the process, and help them create a new beginning. 

In 2005 I earned the the city wide award for selling the most homes by an individual Keller Williams agent.  In 2004 I received  the Keller Williams Realty Partners Eagle Award.  This award is given by agent peers to the person who most closely represents Keller Williams culture and values.  Of all of the awards that I have ever won, I am most honored by that one.
